Based on our experience, we can offer fully independent quality and quantity inspections during transshipment of the said cargoes as follows:

Pre-shipment inspections at the port and at the plants:

  • Inspection of rail cars / rail tank cars before loading for cleanliness, integrity, tightness of all hatch covers to prevent leakage of the cargo during transportation.
  • Witness control of weighbridge operations carried out for rail cars and rail tank cars.
  • Sealing of rail cars and rail tank cars after weighing.
  • Visual inspection of cargo condition at the storage or during loading into rail cars.
  • Representative sampling at storage or during loading into rail cars and tank rail cars.
  • Analysis of withdrawn samples according to specifications that require supervision, in accordance with standards specified by the Client.
  • Continuous twenty-four-hour monitoring of cargo operations.
  • Review of the manufacturer’s certificates of quantity and quality, railway bills issued for the inspected lots of cargo.
  • Photos reflecting condition of rail cars, cargoes, loading / discharging operations;
  • Daily reports on the progress of loading / discharging operations, results of inspections performed.
  • Twenty-four-hour detailed reporting to the Client on any irregularities / accidents / contaminations or any other abnormal situations that may affect quality or quantity of cargo;
  • Issuance of international certificates as a result of the inspection performed.

Cargo inspections at loading port:

  • Inspection of rail cars / rail tank cars after transportation for integrity, tightness of hatch covers, damages.
  • Inspection of seals on the rail cars and rail tank cars after cargo transportation.
  • Witness control of weighbridge operations carried out for rail cars and rail tank cars.
  • Inspection of the vessel’s holds / tanks before loading for cleanliness and suitability to carry intended cargo;
  • Inspection of the vessel’s hatch covers for watertightness;
  • Draft Survey (initial, final, intermediate);
  • Ullage measurements in the cargo tanks of the vessel;
  • Determination of cargo quantity in the barges used for accumulating cargo lots at the port.
  • Ullage measurements in the shore tanks;
  • Visual inspection of cargo condition during discharge from the rail cars, at the storage or during loading on board the vessel.
  • Sampling of inspected cargo during discharging from the rail cars or from rail tank cars, at the port storage or during loading on board the vessel.
  • Analysis of withdrawn samples according to specifications that require supervision, in accordance with standards specified by the Client.
  • Sealing of the holds upon completion of loading.
  • Continuous twenty-four-hour supervision of loading operations at the port.
  • Review of the manufacturer’s certificates of quantity and quality, railway bills, port acceptance acts issued for the inspected lots of cargo.
  • Photos reflecting condition of rail cars, vessel’s holds before loading, cargoes, loading operations.
  • Detailed daily reports on the progress of loading operations, results of inspections performed.
  • Twenty-four-hour detailed reporting to the Client on any irregularities / accidents / contaminations or any other abnormal situations that may affect quality or quantity of cargo.
  • Issuance of international certificates as a result of the inspection performed.

Cargo inspections at discharging port:

  • Witness control of weighbridge operations carried out for rail cars and rail tank cars.
  • Determination of cargo quantity on the basis of Draft Survey (initial, final, intermediate).
  • Determination of cargo quantity on the basis of ullage measurements in the cargo tanks of the vessel.
  • Visual inspection of cargo condition during discharge from the vessel.
  • Sampling of the cargo during discharge from the vessel.
  • Inspection of the seals before discharge.
  • Analysis of withdrawn samples according to specifications that require supervision, in accordance with standards specified by the Client.
  • Continuous twenty-four-hour supervision of discharging operations at the port.
  • Photos reflecting condition of cargoes, discharging operations.
  • Detailed daily reports on the progress of discharging operations, results of inspections performed.
  • Twenty-four-hour detailed reporting to the Client on any irregularities / accidents / contaminations or any other abnormal situations that may affect quality or quantity of cargo.
  • Issuance of international certificates as a result of the inspection performed.
